The Aimito
Every merch shop for developers sells the same forty jokes. We wanted the opposite: a catalogue big enough that the right shirt exists, and search smart enough that you can actually find it without knowing the exact words.
So we built vibe-search. Describe the feeling — “that thing where kubernetes wakes you up at 3am” — and semantic embeddings surface the designs that get it. No tag spelunking. No scrolling nine pages of near-misses.
The art leans into the era we're living through: AI slop, hallucinated pull requests, prompt engineers made redundant by the thing they were prompting. It's self-aware. It knows a machine probably helped make it. That's the joke — and every dev wearing it is the hero of the panel.
The secret origin of the name
“The Aimito.” People assume it's an AI pun — aim, AI, something like that.
Say it out loud. In Croatian, “daj mi to” means “gimme that.” Which is exactly what you think when you find the shirt.
The whole brand is a Croatian phrase wearing a cape and pretending to be a startup. Now you can't unhear it.
